Mr. English joins Slater Law Group, Of Counsel, after nearly two decades as Director & Senior Corporate Counsel with Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest distributor of technology products and services with offices and distribution centers around the globe. While at Ingram Micro, Mr. English served as lead counsel for its U.S. business, comprising over half of the company’s nearly $50 billion in annual revenues. His practice focuses upon the drafting and negotiation of commercial transactions and settlement of related disputes with an emphasis in sales, supplier, marketing, private label, outsource and cloud distribution as well as credit arrangements. He was also instrumental in the development of Ingram Micro’s most recent U.S. channel financing programs, private label supply offerings and cloud distribution programming. Prior to Ingram Micro, Mr. English served as in-house counsel with several publicly-traded technology and information services companies.

Mr. English is licensed in N.M. and has maintained Registered In-House Counsel status in California.

Mr. English has participated from time to time as an industry and CLE panelist and is the author of articles on the subjects of channel indemnification, channel financing and cloud distribution negotiation, published globally and in the U.S. in Docket: The Journal of the Association of Corporate Counsel (Washington-2012), Business Credit Magazine (2014 and 2015 – Columbia, MD) and the International In-House Counsel Journal (London-2015).
